Our bioplastics products are designed to replace toxic, petroleum based plastics with materials that are biodegradable, renewable, and socially responsible.
We chose these products because they:
Target high-waste, high-regulation markets (food service, retail, agriculture)
Can be scaled using our existing process flow
Deliver both environmental and economic impact
Are supported by consumer trends, government bans, and international funding priorities
Regreen is developing packaging products for agricultural and retail sectors, including biodegradable produce trays, wrapping films, and product boxes made from bio-composite materials.
Rationale:
Plastic bans are growing across Africa, but viable alternatives are lacking. We address this gap by offering solutions that are not only eco-friendly, but regionally produced and tailored for local markets.
We can manufacture molded tableware including plates, bowls, cutlery, and takeaway containers. Made from hemp biomass and starch blends, our products break down naturally in composting environments, making them ideal for eco-conscious food service providers.
Rationale:
Single-use food packaging is one of the largest contributors to plastic waste in Africa’s urban centers. Our tableware reduces landfill pressure, cuts down waste collection costs, and supports local green supply chains.
We can produce biodegradable resin pellets from hemp cellulose, used by manufacturers to create a variety of molded and extruded products. These serve as a direct replacement for petroleum-based plastics—without the environmental cost.
Rationale:
Plastic production is expected to triple by 2060, with less than 10% recycled today. Our hemp-based resin reduces emissions, is compostable, and provides manufacturers with a sustainable alternative that meets emerging regulations.
